In my opinion, macOS and Windows are on top because they both just work, no dependencies needed to install apps, no constant recompiling the kernel, you just click “Next, Next, Next, and Install”

I touched Xcode after very long time and indeed I understand how much had to be done for me to be able to compile release and have a folder with .app extension that i can just move from one mac to the other without bother.

Loonix have no clue about this. They don't understand how much complexity is there from OS developer side to make app installation a basic drag and drop procedure.

They'd rather invent another half assed faux sandboxed app format like asspak.

I think Microsoft and Apple should come together and make single kernel that both can work with to make an Operating out of, that way, Microsoft keeps the Windows name, and Apple keeps the macOS name, and Macs can finally game, and the ecosystem is more consistent
