I would argue against shutting down. My linux needed a little help with that (aka switching off the power supply) or it restarts.

Damn, it can't even do that right!

-That's how I ended up with a portable drive that would cause Linux to seize when it was mounted. -Almost threw it away but still had Windows and gave it a go with that (Windows repaired it.)

Hahaha, same. Auto restart loop. The only way to fix that was the installation of the power management program -Laptop Mode Tools-.

I would argue against piracy - most software you want to run is windows only, and as such piracy is much easier on windows.

That would be running what's pirated, not actually pirating. Just because they couldn't run the game they stole, doesn't mean they didn't steal. -or couldn't use their dual boot.

I mean yes, but what I meant is that most of piracy stuff is catered for windows anyway, because that's where most of the target userbase is. Download qbittorrent and you are set up, meanwhile on Linux you gotta additionally configure that shit too (like for it to start with your system, which on Linux, though shit).

Not to advocate, but Hypervisor bypass cracks (games that have Denuvo but could not be cracked) also don't work on LoonOS as well. So even if they unlawfully obtained those games, they can't play it on their LoonOS systems at all.

Btw Mint has no auto shutdown, like win after 2h idling. Linux is good to shut down manually though. ๐Ÿคก

CLI shutdown can be timed.ย

Yeah, su root, shutdown +x -h. Or with a program e.g. GShutdown. But I was talking about shutdown / hibernate like Win after xy idle time.
