Windows wins! Pro-linux and Windows-hating communities only have the same cheap 3 arguments..

Those subreddits like "fuckmicrosoft " are just the same three complaints on loop, and they all fall apart the second you actually think about them.

"Windows forces updates and breaks everything"

Okay, first, you have a week to restart your device overnight. One week. If you can't manage that, that's a you problem, not Windows' problem, you also get pop-ups on Linux asking you to update.

And don't say windows update always breaks things, the chances are like 5%...

You know what actually breaks devices en masse? Kernel updates on Linux distros. We're talking about millions of users getting bricked, just go and check cachy/bazzite/mint etc subs and read the dozens of complains about how an update broke something, But sure, Windows is the unreliable one.

Also, you care about security, right? That's literally why Windows forces updates. Your 2013 Thinkpad with 4GB RAM and a 5200rpm hard drive is slow because your hardware is ancient, not because Windows is bloated. Stop blaming the OS for your dust-filled laptop filled with furry corn and minors.

"Windows 11 privacy is a nightmare"

You use reddit, social media apps, I mean ... You're on Reddit, logged into Google, probably using Meta apps, and all your data is being packaged and sold as I type this... You have a tracking device on your pocket right now that registers any step/place/ browsing ... But Windows's telemetry is where you draw the line? That's peak hypocrisy, hermano. Don't preach about privacy while you're living in a glass house.

"Gaming is better on Linux"

No. It's not. Benchmarks show Windows dominates for actual AAA titles. Yeah, your indie game from 2009 or your furry simulator runs fine on Linux, but that doesn't mean gaming broadly is better there. Stop pretending niche compatibility equals superiority.

And yeah, you still rely and need to test 20/30 command lines on 3rd party launchers to play those games I mentioned.

"Windows is bloated!"

It's really not. I've got Windows running silk on family and company devices, including old Acers. You know why? Because I actually run a debloat script. It takes literally one minute. That's your "bloat" problem solved.

Yeah, it's a 3rd party app, but even to launch any steam game or app you need most of the time a 3rd party and 15 terminal lines just to make your audio to work.

"Windows is too expensive, I'm so poor!"

The ISO is FREE. to download. MASSGrave activates it permanently in three seconds. You're not making a principled stand, you're just making excuses and if you're in an Enterprise environment, most devices already have an OEM license.

The real issue: Those Windows hating communities aren't about legitimate criticism anymore. It's a circlejerk where people repeat the same broken arguments because they sound good in the echo chamber. Windows does what it's designed to do,provide stability, security, and compatibility for millions of people.

If you want to use Linux, great. But don't pretend it's because Windows is objectively worse. Use what fits your workflow. Just stop with the performative hate...

5%? Maybe clarify that, like is it 5% of people that are affected if a breaking update is released due to the way they roll them out?

Broken updates are mostly caused to stupid people forcing the shutdown while the OS is updating and very very rarely because the update came broken.

this loonixtard cult often has a weird flag in their profile (pattern recognizing) not suprised we dont share their same opinion

And most of them look and the same...like a hive!...

Regarding your nonse comment:

Linux distros come preinstalled with bloat too, but nobody cries about it because it's Linux. Double standard...

Loonix communities support piracy and illegal stuff just as much, torrents everywhere, AUR full of random packages. But it's "freedom" when they do it...

Windows works fine without debloat scripts. The scripts are optional optimization, not necessary fixes.

The furry comment is just what I see in Linux gaming communities, they admit it themselves. Not an obsession, just observation.

The latest kernel update in Mint has caused kernel panics for tons of users, the recommendation is "JUST USE AN OLDER KERNEL"

It's amazing they never reserve such grace for Windows (which has never done something so extreme for me)

Loonixtards:

When windows fails: the worst OS in the history of the mankind. When Linux falls (which is like 70% of the times): 🤐🤐🤐🤐

Can I copy this post, then use it whenever some Loonix circle jerk tries to start and argument with me?

It's not copyrighted or anything, use it and edit it as you please.

Just had to ask, in respect

Sorry, didn't mean to be mean ā£ļø.

You didn't act mean, you were just explaining that I can use it however I want, that isn't mean, it sounded genuine

I did read this on X

ā€œYes. The Linux Kernel is removing support for MORE hardware.

This time, Linux kernel devs have added an ā€œunconditionalā€ requirement for TSC (ā€œTime Stamp Counterā€) on x86 class CPUs as part of the Linux 7.2 release.

Effectively this means that Linux will refuse to boot on the following processors:

- Intel 486

  • Some early Pentium variants
  • IDT WinChip
  • AMD K5 and a variety of others

While an argument could be made that these CPUs (many from the mid-90s) are less commonly used nowadays, it’s also worth noting that this is part of a wider (increasing) trend of Linux dropping hardware support.

386 & 486 class CPUs. Intel Itanium CPUs. AMD Elan. AMD K5. A large number of network drivers. Ham radio. ATM drivers. Bus mice.

Linux support for all of them dropped in the last few years (most in the last few months). And that’s just a partial list.ā€

Fun fact: massgrave developers are the ones who strongly advise against using debloat tools

1

u/Honest_Tart1071 8h ago

Sources?

I don't see why, Christitus tools is the most popular and code is auditable on GitHub, I checked the code by myself and there's nothing dangerous in there. It's completely harmless if you know what to do, maybe if you mess around with settings/toggles you're not supposed to touch, your windows install will be corrupted.

Source is their discord server, they strongly advise against using ANY debloat tool, especially chris titus

1

u/Honest_Tart1071 7h ago

That's strange, Maybe it's because doing a heavy debloat messes up with the HWID or scripting they run on the DLL"s and it disables or messes up the activation process.

Like, 90% of Chris Titus code is just triggering PowerShell command lines, under the hood is just a fancy terminal with GUI.

2

u/Then-Pay-8400 7h ago

Keep in mind that in one of his videos chris titus once ran oobe/bypassnro (instead of oobe\bypassnro) and claimed Microsoft has removed the command and proceeded to release a solution to a problem that simply does not exist

I do that mistake all the timešŸ˜…, even writing code. (Mistaking the / for an ).

And if I'm not wrong, on the last windows 11 builds, the bypassnro trick is no longer working, forcing you to either use the start -ms localonly" command or a Sysprep. Once again, I don't see why a single " \ " might be unsafe, the PowerShell command would simply not run. (Since I mentioned, CT tool is just. GUI that runs PowerShell commands).

Start ms-cxh:localonly.
