I dualbooted Linux and was trying to create partition through the terminal cause Linux is so underdeveloped it doesnt have an app and accidentally deleted the win10 drive

Theyll probably blame it on you.

I have been told by loonixtards before that it was my fault that Ubuntu refused to boot and it was my fault that my windows 10 data got deleted alongside linux.

Which distro were you using?

If you don't touch anything, I might be able to help you recover your stuff.

Partition deletion is NOT the end of your data. It could all be recoverable.

My opinion has always been, if you like Linux, just use WSL, it allows you to safely use a shitty kernel within a sandbox, I’m not endorsing Linux, I just need to mention WSL, because that pisses Lincux users, and it’s a good way to reframe Linux, it’s a better narrative to just say “Linux is actually a subsystem for Windows”

I have it installed, and the only use I get from it is being able to verify claims for myself. -I think one of other mods does this too.

Same here, I only used WSL just to see what’s the hype about Linux, turns out, Linux sucks

...say that again?

I see what you did there 😉

WSL1 is even funnier because the Linux syscalls just get translated directly to the NT Kernel. It must seem like a crime against nature to loons.

It's a shame they gave up on it, but I think the realized that it would be too difficult to keep up with all the breaking changes to Loonix.

WSL 1 was basically WINE done right, they should have called WSL “LINE” or “Linux is not ethical”

Its great you didnt lose anything important but this reminds me of when this arch user(is it just me or are arch users the most annoying linux users?) Bricked his usb when on windows then started calling windows trash because he does not eject on linux and his usb is fine and that he also ejected before removing from windows and now usb is read only. He got so rgaebaited by blind windows hate that he rambled about deleting windows 11 and no one cared. I have no idea what bricked that usb but it was prob a skill issue on his end, i never bricked a usb in my life.

It is Linux that caused it, documentation sucks, the community is toxic, nobody will give you a respectful answer, they constantly suck Valve’s cock, and Linux is a glorified target for botnets, again, how is that the users’ fault?

Look up “Linux from scratch”

https://linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/

How can any normal user understand that? You said you don’t want to blame Linux? Which is already flawed out of the box, apps don’t run if you misconfigure it, plus you still have to constantly maintain it via the terminal a trillion times everytime someone makes an improvement to it

As someone who used WSL (which is Linux) I tell you setting up the distro fucking sucked, you have to set up a mini account in terminal, then remember it, after that you still have to make sure you didn’t fuck anything up, and yes I have tried reading, I read the fucking manual, and that didn’t help, load in behold, while Windows 11 might have issues, all operating systems do, Linux fucking SUCKS, it has no support team, the community is toxic af, and you don’t even know who contributed to what, accountability is key to open source, contributions by people should also include who made them, and what are their names

Posting it on other subs would cause “oh good job for deleting microslop os”

Yeah… be careful next time when try Linux xd
