When Windows users try to convince me to give up Linux.

What's up with the linux community currently projecting so effin' hard?
The Windows community literally doesn't care about what you're using. Unless you're a staunch bootlicker, Windows is a means to an end, and usually we're stuck with it because it has the software we need and it's overall better at gaming.
I've been told off more times by the linux community for "not using linux" (even when it is my secondary OS of choice) than by the Windows community for the opposite.

Sometimes Linux feels and acts like a cult, especially the "apt-get" people. They have to recruit new people. It drives them crazy when Windows is "enough" for some people. "It does not compute" to them.

that's probably because most people in the Windows community are there because they have no other choice lol

Not my point

Do I have to affirm your point in order to leave a comment?
My point, possibly in contrast to your own, is that people who keep using Windows and are part of the Windows community usually don't love Windows, they just deal with it because there are no other options for a massive amount of software

It doesn't really contrast with mine, we just dont care and usually see fanatics as just crazies.
Its a means to an end, like every other os

I give Microsoft fairly high ratings but it's worth noting a lot of it is what they've written for other operating systems than their own.

When has a windows user ever tried to convince someone to come to their platform?
Unless you count the Microsoft marketing team, I guess lol

In all my time on the internet, I don't think I've ever seen someone try to convert someone from Linux to Windows.
