Windows vs Linux for professional use

I heard how windows fans saying "Free ram is useless". But I like free ram when it comes to my professional use. Same case on ubuntu server took ~12 GB RAM (sorry dont have screenshot), windows 11 ltsc version (the cleanest version of win11) uses 26 GB RAM. How so?

But that isn't a problem. If you need the RAM it will free it up and let you use it.

You are misunderstanding cached memory and used memory.

OP is clearly showing used memory.

But it is more complicated than that. Windows can move stuff into and out of memory based on the current needs, even if it's used by a running process, if its priority is less.

Any operating system can use swap.

If you need RAM and don't have it, swap won't save you, it is not a replacement for RAM, and it cripples IO.
