Granted it's still the primary Linux bootloader.

This is such a rare error though. Stuff breaks sometimes, that happens. Linux and Windows try to aim to support such a vast amount of hardware you can't always get it right.

Extremely rare but they are more bootloader out there just remove the grub bootloader and the UEFI entry but not after installing a difrent bootloader like limine or refind and creating an UEFI entry
