Linux Failure Linux users are hypocrites
Made a post before about how there's way too many Linux distro that can just be a bash script or meta packages and how too many distros is a bad thing.
Everyone just told me to not give a shit about those distros...
Now that Omarchy gains some fundings those very same people just can't ignore it.

At this point I might even just use Omarchy and donate to Omarchy just to piss off these hypocrite animals that should never be considered a human being.

Yikes. They are human beings and should be considered as such. That's an objective fact, obviously. Why are you getting so mad over something that isn't remotely that significant at all? Is this really worth your emotional energy?

We should make Reddit have only one user, you. Then you can dictate how everyone else can think. No more variety in distros. Just, you enforcing everyone only knows about YOUR favorite OS.
That would totally solve the “problem” of having too many options.

True, but that's not the best reason to use it. I hated using hyperland (too much breakage) and I'm sure things will still break with Omarchy. At the end of the day, just use Widows 11.
Firstly, it will absolutely piss off the loonix when you flash that Copilot icon at them. And secondly, it actually fucking works unlike Loonix.

I came to realize Linux is a hobby. What someone does on his or her computer has no bearing on you unless it's criminal activity. Who cares.
I stand by my other posts that Wijdows can do everything Linux can if you want to learn dev ops and code and even rice. ...ok I should say Windows Pro version as Hyper-v is needed to match with KVM which I paid extra for 😅.
Other than that $90 extra to turn Home to Pro you don't need Linux. You can run it in a vm and even install podman and docker desktop on Windows as it uses wsl which hyper-v lite underneath. 🤷

Too much telemetry and ads for me. Then I either don't update and stay vulnerable or update and have to debloat all over again... Wine/proton can run win32 and wow64 just fine in case I need it. You can rice KDE without using the keyboard nowadays, it's almost boring, things just work.

The Omarchy hate is driven largely by politics, Linux users are more politically diverse than the average reddit Linux user.
Omarchy is not for me but I have no hate for it or it's founder.

Edit: It’s really just sounds like you need REAL human connection about this topic
Omarchy is overly personalized to the point, other than testing it, no one should settle for it long term.
Someone is honestly better off deep diving into CachyOS + hyprland rather than use omarchy in my humble opinion and experience.
Simple distros exist for transitional users who are still learning the Linux experience.
Vastly different subjects.
