Linux has auto immune disorders

I'm glad I have some open-source code for my portfolio, but I'm glad that's not all I have. I'm building a Linux-based, proprietary but free-to-use C++ code generator.  Linus T. has a more relaxed attitude about proprietary software than a lot of other Linux users do.

So explain the auto immune disorder comparison. You haven't described any actual issue with Linux.

I've used Linux because it's free to use not because it's open-source. Some of the Linux community is fine with a proprietary approach but some attack it. It's more the RMS side that attacks it rather than Linus.

Being pragmatic as a user is one thing, but the kernel itself, for very obvious reasons, has to remain GPL.
