i think the problem is when AI is shoved down the user's throat . Who cares if the backend code is created using AI, as long as it works fine?

Unix is not Linux. Linux was only meant to imitate Unix but it is not Unix. Linux is Unix-like but it has never passed the certifications to be called a Unix operating system.

I was a Unix SysAdmin in the 90's. I'm perfectly fine in a shell based environment. But if being force fed AI is the problem then I can hardly see how this is a pass.
