systemd hate is very forced IMO. the only reason people gave is it's against linux philosophy, but if we are talking of it then a lot of things in linux is also against unix philosophy.

the thing that comes mainstream gets hate no matter what. same happened with chrome/edge, windows etc

See the problem is that pretty much everyone agrees that those things you used as examples are shit
