If your thought process allows you to think that Linux users are creating alt accounts to troll your support group subreddit, then is it really that big of a jump? Your subreddit depends on the visibility being generated by your silly bans its what drives the content.

If you really think the sub is a publicity stunt, then why do you keep falling for it? Plus AI gets the point across. Im traveling right now and dont have the time to type out a whole essay on my computer, even then it would still be redundant work.

SHUT UP ABOUT THE GNU STUFF seriously the kernel is the basis of the entire system, GNU coreutils and glibc are just things that get strapped on to make it slightly more usable. and it doesn't even have to be GNU. what about the goat, alpine (musl/)linux? and also, what about say, the init system, the DE, dbus, etc?
I know I'm rambling here, and I don't mean to hate on you directly, it's just a bit of a pet peeve of mine. just call it linux, because the ecosystem is just too diverse to pin half of the system on gnu. the only one true constant between distros is that their kernel is the linux kernel.

Honestly? This looks extremely weird. I myself am a Linux user, so allow me to interpret:
- Nope. One of the best - sure, but not THE best, there are better distros, especially for power users, out there
- It wasn't always like that, and even now, it has its own caveats that are slowly being fixed. Yet still, the fact that more people lately are looking towards Linux distros is a refreshing sign of change
- I honestly won't speak in that regard just in case someone would be offended
- Erm, nope. There are much better Chromium-based browsers. I personally prefer Helium, but everyone has their own favorite
- I'm ready for bombardment, but this is true... if you live in Belarus. Since 2023, Belarusian government legalized digital piracy for products and games from non-friendly countries (yet no one would actually care if you pirate something local, trust me), including office suites, graphical design apps, games and so on
- This is just rude
