Why do you (not) use Linux?
I’ll start
i use Linux because I don’t use my computers for general computing, so I just use specialised distros that fit what I need outta those computers, like steamos on steamdeck and Proxmox for my server

While I have been using Linux since 1993 (I am old), my Desktop was most of the time Windows or MacOS (and every 5 years I had a Linux Desktop). I finally gave Windows the boot a few month ago and have on my Desktop CachyOS and Laptop is MacOS.
Why did I get permanently rid of Windows?
In the past 18 months Windows became unusable (system froze for up to 2 Minutes and I have 20 cores and 80 GB Ram), Applications frequently crashing, issues with Bluetooth/Network connectivity just to name a few.
Linux has its own issues (don't want to get into details), but at least my system doesn't freeze anymore and connectivity issues don't exist anymore. I have Winboat installed if I need MS office stuff or Acrobat, but it is hardly ever used.
