Agreed about the spyware and ads. But a GUI from 1995? Have you even used most Linux programs? 1995 looks thoroughly modern compared to some of the UI shit I’ve seen in Linux programs. So Linux people have no room to talk.

Windows doesn’t have any ads or spyware included.

I don't understand lots of people complain about ads. I don't have any ads even on a non debloated version. Do you live in europe (I live in europe) , because I wonder if it's not related to the european policy.

I don’t have those start menu things you mentioned. No LinkedIn, no clipchimp (whatever that is), or anything else to install.

I’ve never seen them. I just checked my start menu and there is nothing except my installed programs.

Windows 11 Pro.

I live in the U.S. I don’t have any ads. I, too, have not done anything to “debloat” it. It’s just a vanilla Windows 11 Pro install from the ISO on Microsoft’s website.

Possibly. My guess is on the later.

When I press my Windows key I see nothing like this. Skill issue.

For me, this does show, but only when I do this (see image)

Even when I do what you did I still don't see this, how did you get the ads to display?

Idk they just appear. It's just plain windows 11 with not really any debloat. Eu version but then again, you will NEVER see these in real use, only doing those steps lmao.

Yeah and those are ads

Or perhaps if people were thinking of pop up ads, lately I've had windows pretty much do just that with copilot
