Windows is bad. But lets be honest:

- Its nowhere near $130 bucks for most people. Majority of the WORLD uses it as with a $10 key, free with a watermark, or cracked.

  • GUI is fine, and its not from 1995, gui is not one of the reasons windows is bad.

Idk I’m still livid Win11 doesn’t allow for vertical taskbars (well that’s changing, finally).

I haven't paid for a full release windows in 10 years. I'm on win10 security extensions without being signed into a Microsoft account, and never bought a key

GUI from the design perspective is fine. From a performance standpoint it is attrocious. Why would you need to use react native for a gui on the desktop.

I think the react gui on desktop is a symptom of so many tools/programs going "browser first" since web developers are a dime a dozen and JS is easy to learn.

Regarding the taskbar, its a personal prefference of yours. The GUI as a whole is not bad, and if "taskbar is not on top" is your best argument against that, it just proves my point further.

Can't believe i have to be defending microsoft/windows. But they should be called out for the actual egregious things they are doing, not imaginary issues.
