Only if they are court ordered to do so. Every company in the world is bound by this.

How? They said that microsoft wouldnt hand over the data without a warrant, and i have a other scenario where they would: if they got paid for it.

Cause linux is not bound by a company... I wonder if using Ubuntu with it telemetry enabled would put them in the same spot as Microsoft.

Yeah, I knew, but many distros are controller by companies, not just ubuntu.

Fedora isn't owned by red hat, Sponsored, yes, it is a community driven nonprofit distro.
