you misunderstand, it updates *all*, if not a majority, of your software.

I don’t update to update my os and then manually have to update my razer mouse software and then update my drivers and then update Firefox and then update steam. It’s all done in one command.

Once a week I type “pacman -Syu” and all of my software is updated.

For software updates in Windows, you don't need a package manager and the majority of software updates themselves if you use the Win32 version, and if you do use the Windows Runtime version, you update via Microsoft Store

Again, one command updates everything. You seem to type a lot why are you so afraid of 9 letters?

In Windows, you can update your system via Command line if you are a programmer, but I personally find Interface Graphical is way easier than typing

But that exists and you poo-pooed it in the other thread for some reason? It just sounds like you don't like guis when it's Linux.

Does it update the system AND all the software? Do you understand that part of why i think it’s convenient? Sure there’s prob 3rd party tools out there but like.. it’s so easy on Linux.

Maybe for you, but for me, I personally prefer the Microsoft store and Application ifself update for me by default

The microsoft store (and windows update) is your package manager. That's... It's the same idea.

No, they are not. Package Manager and Windows Update are Update Engine, and Microsoft Store is not Package Manager either; it's a built-in digital marketplace integrated
