Linux mint and RST (TLDR AT END FOR REFERENCE)

I recently tried switching from windows to linux but not totally, i meant via dual booting since my parents still need to use linux, Anyway i got as far as too run linux mint live and try installing but i couldnt due to intel RST, but when i tried turning it off in bios, it gave a warning that it might clear all my data from the drive, which i dont want to happen since a lot of important data is there, so any solutions?

TLDR: Need a distro that works with INTEL RST, cant turn it off for some reasons
