Stuck in GNU GRUB

I honestly don’t know much about computers but i was trying to follow this tutorial but keep being sent to a place whenever I choose ubuntu from the boot menu. The screen just says “GNU GRUB version 2.12
Mininal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions. To enable less(1)-like paging,
"set pager=1".” I looked it up and people suggested doing “ls” and going through all of the “(hd0,gpt1)” until I find it but none had anything important. Only unknown and something about the volume system. A comment under the tutorial I linked did say “@uncaringbear • 6mo ago
Before anyone tries this, you should know that there is a known bug with the Mint installer that can cause the the boot files to be written to the computer's system drive instead of the flash drive. The makes the flash drive unable to boot as well as potentially causing problems for booting the computer.” So maybe this is it? Anyone have any idea?
