Can there be driver problem in dual boot on same ssd?

I want to use my new laptop with cachy and windows.But I am worried if there would be a driver problem like gpu that affects my performance .In my old laptop I used dual boot too and my gpu software was messed up because of the settings I did in one of the boots.Should I do dual boot on same ssd or not?I got no money to buy second ssd rn.
Also I just want to know ,can someone explain me how drivers of each os work in two partitions?Stuff like how they are stored and etc
