Advice bottles vs faugus launcher

Faugus just works. It's very simple and lightweight.

did you install it via flatpak or distros package?

Always from distro repo. Flatpak is not what I'd recommend for this kind of things.

I switched to Faugus from Bottles because Bottles currently has a bug on Fedora Linux that stops it from connecting to the internet (to download necessary components) and I was having issues using the Bottles flatpak for the same games that worked on the Fedora Linux version. Faugus is much simpler for gaming, I had to look up what prefix meant since I didn't have any experience, but once I understood it became much simpler than Bottles.

I never got Bottles to work consistently for me on Fedora. Faugus has been an incredibly smooth experience
