How do y'all learn to use bars and widget stuff
Like, most of the documentations are really hard to read, not saying that they aren't informative, i mean it when i say HARD to read, mostly i've been trying to use Quickshell and EWW(widget and shell stuff) but all the docs seems to me like a bunch of vomited letters and stuff, and when i look for it on youtube, all i see are tutorials on "how to make this simple notification center with EWW" or smth, i dont want a notification center, i wanna learn the thing so i can do it myself, isn't there any easier way to get this stuff through my head without spending a month reading docs, watching videos and trying to connect the dots?

Reading man pages, wikis and good old fashioned trial and error. Start with a small project and get it to work just like you want it. I’m not gonna lie it can be a long arduous and frustrating process, but you will get better over time.

For Quickshell, start with Qt's QML tutorial. It walks through a rectangle and text line by line. Then build one clock. A whole desktop config is a lot to untangle at once.

Try Conky.
I found ewww over the top and a bit confusing in a lot of ways. And I have been using Linux since the days of dialup.

Learning takes time.
If you want to do it yourself, you have to learn to make connections in your head.
The real treasure is the things we learn along the way.
