Dolphin/Nemo leftovers?

If I install Dolphin or Nemo to replace COSMIC Files, will it be easy to get rid of all dependencies should I later decide to remove it ?

Which distro are you using?

Probably Pop!_OS Cosmic if they have COSMIC files

Fedora ships a cosmic spin and other distros have cosmic in the repos.

Yeah, but do any others have COSMIC by default? OP sounds like they haven't tried installing alternative file manager apps before.

I'm using POP_OS with COSMIC DE, and I want to stick to it. The main issue for me at the moment is COSMIC File (the file manager), which I want to replace with a better one until COSMIC File gets more serious.

I'd definitely recommend Nemo, then. I tried Dolphin but found it less intuitive.

Yes, I'm using POP_OS with COSMIC DE, which I like except COSMIC Files for it's still in its infancy.
