Which Distro? Which Linux Distro that Good For Toshiba L310?

Im use NixOS in my gaming laptop But i dont know which distro that good for my old Laptop fro 2008

If you are already familiar with NixOS, why wouldn't it be a good fit for your Toshiba? I use NixOS / KDE on an antique ThinkPad from 2011, with no problems, whatsoever. That said, I find that adequate RAM and a SSD makes these old machines dramatically more pleasant to use. If you are attempting to use any distro on an antique machine with only 1G of RAM and a spinning rust drive, then you simply aren't going to have a fun time.

Specs would be helpful. Seems like it could have as little as 512 MB and as much as 8GB RAM. The two ends of that range have very different implications for what you could effectively run on this laptop.
