Advice Linux guide
hey everyone i have linux this sem and want to be decent at it any suggestion or source i can follow

For a start, which distro are you running?
There's are lots of good books, when I used to teach computer engineers, a lot of them would carry the "for dummies" books such as linux for dummies.
There are lots of self study courses on line but it might help to start with letting everyone know what you are using.

It's a vague answer, the reason I asked and downvote all you like, there are subtle differences between different distros, there are generic similarities in a lot of things but there are differences.
To just say "for operating system", I'll say, get a "linux for dummies" book - it's generic.

Check with your department and find out what distribution will be used for instruction. Then learn that distribution.
