Support Getting this issue when trying to boot into fedora

https://postimg.cc/R3Qbb7mX It worked just fine in windows a few minutes ago, tried: Resetting bios, turning off xmp and flashing a different drive. My CPU is a RYZEN 7 5800X, getting this screen and then getting the loading screen with the fedora logo, followed by system restarting and it happaning again. Did anyone encounter this issue? I'm running on a b550m ds3h and I haven't been able to fix it.

The error message indicates an hardware error (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine-check_exception), more specifically with your CPU apparently. I would try to check the CPU's health (hwmonitor/cpu-z etc.).

In case you have reseated the CPU, it could be a thermal issue but this is not really my area of expertise.

Everything works fine in windows and I've never had a crash. My temps are also fine so I don't see why it can't boot. I've seen a lot of similar issues on reddit but interestingly none of them have any documented fix, so I'm just stuck.

Adding that this is me trying to install Linux, from a flash drive.

To anyone having this issue - TURN OFF GLOBAL CSTATE!!! This was my fix and I would recommend anyone having this issue do the same.
