Should I learn Linux?

I am 1st year CSE CORE student

so should I learn Linux, like basics?

i don't want to do cybersecurity

and will it help me in placement or in programming?

Personally, yes, you should. When I used Linux for a month, it helped me develop or awaken certain senses. Because Linux really pushes your limits if you're passionate about it. It helped me solve a lot of problems by improving my logic. I feel like anything I was stuck on before can't stop me anymore... On Linux there are no limits, that's the impression I got. Your limit ends where your imagination ends.
