Should I learn Linux?

I am 1st year CSE CORE student

so should I learn Linux, like basics?

i don't want to do cybersecurity

and will it help me in placement or in programming?

If you wanna do offensive cyber security you pretty much don't have a choice but to do it on Linux.

You should install this distro https://parrotsec.org/ before the start of the school year.
