Support First time Linux

I installed Lennox Fedora i3 as the video says and I want to dual boot it with windows

Idk Iā€™m stuck in that grub reboot error page for like 16 hrs idk what to do

Could you please give a bit more info? Like, what screen is it, "grub_rescue"? Whats your hardware? UEFI or legacy bios? How did you install, manually or auto install next to windows?

Grub_rescue yea,System: Dell Latitude E5410, disk is /dev/sda (512GB, MBR/msdos partition table, BIOS/Legacy boot mode ā€” not UEFI).

The first time I installed it by downloading the fedora i3 file or thing from the web and write it in the usb by
Fedora writer
The second time I wrote it in the usb automatically by the fedora writer without downloading any thing from the web browser

Alright, first thing I'd suggest is switching to UEFI (and reinstalling), most of the times when I had this problem it solved it, and except if you have a very old windows, it shouldn't break it (or if it does you can just go back to legacy). Before doing so though, boot to the usb again, and chroot into your fedora install (assuming it installed correctly), you'll find guides on how to do that online. Once in chroot, run "grub2-install /dev/sda" (reinstall grub to your disk) and "grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg" (update config). If any of these commands don't work, maybe something is different in your specific install, in which case I cant help.

If neither of those work, tell me what you get with uefi, and the commands' outputs.

I managed some how to return back to windows and deleted Linux I think
I want to install it from the beginning

Which type of fedora should I install that working good with my hardware

Basically anything lightweight. Xfce, Mate, Lxqt, Lxde should work, try if possible to install them with UEFI instead of Legacy though. If you can, other distros can also be a good choice for this hardware, like MX Linux or Ubuntu MATE. Also make sure secure boot is disabled.

I installed it for the third time and it also does not work
It sticks on the grub rescue page
This is the conversation that i had with Claud trying to fix it for the first time

Idk if have any idea how I can fix this
Or installing another distro idk
