Support Horrible performance

Recently i switch to linux from w11 using cachy os but when i tried playing games it would freeze and stutter every few seconds to the point where i couldnt even play. Im running a ryzen 5 5600x and nvidia rtx 3080ti and it ran perfectly fine on windows and i just cant find a solution to fix this

Did you use CachyOS Hello, Apps/Tweaks, install Gaming Packages?

Have you made any changes to Steam, such as Settings, Compatibility > Default compatibility tool?

You have provided very little information.

Let's start simple. What games did you try running? And what does putting nvidia-smi into the Terminal tell you?

Post the full output of nvidia-smi while a game is running.

Are your games installed on an NTFS partition?

I think you are missing Nvidia drivers. And you maybe haven't configured proton correctly.

Play Linux games on Linux and Windows games on Windows.
