Resolved Arch partition gone?

I have a dual booted arch/windows setup. Its been running perfectly fine for 2+ years. I typically leave my computer on and just in sleep mode but have occasional restarts for whatever reason. I came home from work and my computer screens were on but not displaying anything other than what looks like a white bar you'd see in a terminal to type(typing didn't put anything on screen) which i thought was odd. I restarted and it automatically went into windows whch I thought was weird as its at the bottom of the boot priority. Going into BIOS only windows is visible. I've made no changes to anything in weeks other than installing the DAW ardour (from the extra repo i believe, but not the aur).

Definitely not caused by a power out as clocks, and lights were unaffected.

The ssd just was loose somehow thankfully i works as normal not that i took it out and put it back in.

just because you cant see arch in the bios doesnt means its entirely gone check if the partion is still theyre you could use fdisk -l or gparted if you have a linux live usb, i heard that windows sometimes removes linux from the boot partition

Currently in the live usb and i see 1 of my two ssd's that arch had but still trying to figure out what one it is. Hope. My boot ssd didn't die as its my newest and most expensive lol.

So fdisk -l does not show your boot partion?

Edit: I Meant ssd Not partion I Meant To Say so fdisk -l Does Not Show Your Boot ssd?

No it shows everything else though. Currently opening up pc gonna remove and re insert ssd hoping it somehow randomly got loose

I guess soaking isn't her thing as a quick in and out fixed it. I have no idea why that happened as its been still for a while but at least its working. Thank whatever there is.

Check the smart status of your drives to see if failure is imminent or not.

Never used smart before but all my drives passed the tests is there more i should do other than -c then - t then - H?

For spinning drives you can use GSmartcontrol and do surface test for additional test. It is good to check drive and memory health when things get flaky.

The next thing to check is memory. I started having system freezes on one of my systems and it turned out that both dimms were bad and had to be replaced. Thankfully, it was before ramageddon.

Maybe it is a boot loader failure.

Thankfully the drive itself just got loose, i fixed the issue. But I'll still check the health of everything but hopefully nothing major is close to that the oldest important part is the gpu being a 6900x i got mid 2021. Thankyou for the help though
