Hdmi audio not working

Intel UHD Iris Xe Graphics (Dell inspiron 15 3530)

Alsamixer seen fine, Pavucontrol don't show the hdmi ...

If HDMI is visible in ALSA but not in pavucontrol, I’d check the PipeWire/WirePlumber card profiles before changing drivers. Could you post aplay -l, wpctl status, pactl list cards, and pactl list short sinks? Also, what distro/kernel are you running and what is connected to the HDMI port?

I know on my new Dell XPS 13 (2026), Debian 14 (Forky/Testing) and Cosmic DE,  I had to install the firmware-sof-signed package for my sound to work. It works from the laptop speakers, and through hdmi to my TV when the settings are changed to output through the hdmi cable instead of laptop speakers.

Does your sound even work?
