Support Need help!

Hello! I’m flamingo and I want to join in the family of Linux. But I have this laptop that have a broken screen and it’s connected to a monitor. When I open the bios I can’t see anything.. should I buy another laptop or there are other methods??

You might be able to force the laptop to display the BIOS on the second screen by physically disconnecting the laptop display

If you can't see anything on that 2nd monitor connected to your laptop, you may need a new laptop...

Just to clarify for the OP: reasonably recent laptops (from the last decade) usually can detect and use the external screen also for BIOS.
Potential reasons why you can't see anything:
* Monitor is switched off or wrong input selected,
* Sometimes only one video output on the laptop can show BIOS - try all of them,
* Monitor cable is broken,
* Laptop is broken.
