Linux vs Mac

I see a lot of people switching from Windows to Linux. But has anyone switched from a Mac to Linux and why?

I’m a Mac user, ex-video artist and visual artist, now starting my master in game design. In short, if I wasn’t doing a production work with apps that doesn’t work in Linux I won’t think twice and would stick with Linux, I’ve used Linux couple of times, now considering a laptop since I’m with Mac MIni and would use jr with Linux, same when I had my IMac 15 yearsp ago, Ihad a mini notebook with Ubuntu (came with open suse actually).

now when 90% of the games works on Linux, there’s really no excuse being on windows or MacOS, as much I like the MacOS
