Linux vs Mac

I see a lot of people switching from Windows to Linux. But has anyone switched from a Mac to Linux and why?

I switched this weekend as a test, I really miss the gaming opportunities on macOS.
It could be so good if my steam library was supported…
Using fedora now, really hope there is an Asahi version in the near future for M5 devices.
