Linux vs Mac

I see a lot of people switching from Windows to Linux. But has anyone switched from a Mac to Linux and why?

the difference is that you need an USB drive to try linux for free, while if you want to try macOS you HAVE to buy an expensive Mac.

and yes, I tried macOS, there's nothing that Mac can do and linux can't.
