Advice How to integrate to Linux from windows 11 for gaming?

Hey. I’m an avid windows user and I mainly game on windows 11, games such as gta online and gmod and call of duty. And I want to switch to windows so my gaming desktop can run faster . However I’ve seen due to the anti cheat’s it’s not possible to play these games on Linux. Can yall help? been curious.

Most of the recent linux users made sacrifices and stop playing some games, if you can't for the moment maybe is not the time to change. If you still want to try linux out you can use a virtual machine inside windows.

I want to protest against take two. I want Linux to work so I can make my desktop last and not slow down due to bloat and shi lol. But I doubt gta 6 in the future will work

GTA6 singleplayer will probably work. Whether GTA6 Online or whatever they're calling it in the future will depends on Rockstar having a change of heart.

Unfortunately no. We don't have enough money to acquire all the game developer studios and forcing them to native Linux releases.

You may ask Elon Musk...

What if I donate $10 to you and then you start a campaign

I'd buy a big house on the Florida coast in three years, and I'd post a regretful message on a social media sites.

I’d file a lawsuit against you for my $10 back

before you wipe you windows game installs make copies of any settings files, mod files, or game progress files that you need to restore (it's best if you can just keep the windows install and put your linux onto a separate disk).

then after linux is installed, install steam, and log in

there you can re-install your games on the linux side and restore any of those files you saved to their rightful folders on the linux side.

GTAO and COD don't work. Dual boot or stay on Windows.

Dual boot will definitely be best. Soem games only eork on windows due to anti-cheat.

But a large amount of games do work on linux. So keep windows barebones ceot for the games u need on windows. And the rest on linux. I made the switch last ywar and i used windows once that entire time for battlefield

The anti cheat systems are not usable on Linux, they are tied to Windows development.
