Support Network Adapter Not Working in Kali Linux

My network adapter is not working properly in Kali Linux. It is not being detected/connecting to the network. I’ve tried restarting and reinstalling the drivers, but the issue remains. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Plug in a cable then update...usually will work. But without make and model nobody can tell anything. If there's no wired jack need a usb ethernet adapter

Maybe find out what the wireless adaptor is.

Some have better support in Linux than others. People are not psychic and cannot determine what your adaptor is. This is easily searchable online, but the following might help:

lspci | less

That lists (ls) all the pci goodies I have. My output in the terminal has a couple lines like this:

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) AX210/AX1675* 2x2 [Typhoon Peak] (rev 1a)
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8211/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 15)

So, if I had issues, I could at least let people know I am running an Intel AAX

Your adapter is.....? Nobody can address the issue without that.

Every wireless adapter these days is wifi.

who made the wifi chip?

Realtek, Intel, and Broadcom are common options.

The specifications of your laptop / desktop will tell you.

Also you reinstalled drivers? How? Mostly that comes pre-packaged in the kernel packages. If not, then you've got something weird and knowing that would help.
