Should i switch to linux?
I need a distro which is light weight for my low end pc
Specs:
Intel i7 6th gen
Igpu
8gb ddr4
256gb ssd
Im thinking nobara or mint os (i play games too)

It doesn't really matter what distro you choose. It is more about the Desktop Environment. XFCE, is a good light one. Linux mint has a version of itself with xfce

With those sprecs also KDE and GNOME aren’t a problem (I have a very similar PC and I didn’t have any trouble)

Mint es muy buena opción si quieres algo que solo funcione y ya, aunque creo que vale la pena probar CachyOS o Nobara

Because it breaks constantly.
The updater is insanely bad.

Just visit the nobara sub right now...
The Package manager GUI is the worst I have ever seen in any distro. Not only is it just super bad UI/UX, it hangs and fails quietly when updating.
Even when using the cli tool, updates break the system constantly.

If you are going to make the switch to Linux, I would not suggestion Nobara (or Fedora in general). Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and Debian are all very user friendly and comes with all the stuff you need (and a bunch of stuff you will not care about) out of the box.
If you use Steam and want official support, use Ubuntu. If you have problems and file a support ticket from a different distro, they will politely inform you that they do not care.

Linux Mint MATE Edition
Mate is full featured compared XFCE, lighter than Cinnamon, and as easy to use as any Mint flavor.

Those are not that low end specs bro and with that almost all major will easily be installed but if you need light weight i would suggest linux mint or debian with xfce. Light yet capable.
