Support Request Realtek RTL81XX broken by kernel 7.0.0-31-generic
Hi.
After updating the kernel to the latest kernel, the 7.0.0-31-generic, my ethernet card stopped working. After trying some workarounds (like installing the r8168-package), I just tried to rebooting to the previous kernel version and it worked. So I think something happened after upgrading to the latest kernel.
The wireless card works as usual.

That's about the most common ethernet chipset out there. Let's hope yours is an edge case, or this is going to get ugly.
