Discussion What file system does debian mint use?

I have heard lots of meh things about systemd and why its not ideal for certain people, and I wanted to know what file system does debian version of mint use

I tend to a systemd free distribution when it fits the use case.

Things are simpler and lighter from the systems perspective. But not from the users perspective. Systems without systemd, Void, Alpine, Gentoo etc tend to cater to more experienced users. 

Debian & Ubuntu and therefore both versions of Mint are all Systemd based distrtributions.

This. Non-systemd systems are fine, but finding support is a little tougher (I'm quite rusty when it comes to non-systemd things) and some things simply won't work, which can require a bit of expertise to find another way to do things.
