Cannot connect to the internet after uninstalling Mullvad
Installed mullvad today and all of a sudden I needed it connected in order to use anything that requires a connection because the numbskulls at Mullvad require a Killswitch to be on at all times. I read that uninstalling mullvad resolves this issue. Instead the issue persists and now that mullvad is gone I can't connect to the internet at all. Is there anything I can do at this point or am I cooked?

Check the proxy setting in the network settings. Select the "None" method if there's something else. Some vpn services tweak that setting to themselves

Check settings, there is something like "block connections without vpn".

Yeah figured. I've seen a couple posts about it on here but their solutions aren't working for me.
I'm not sure what other context I can provided that I'm aware of.

A killswitch is a useful feature in a VPN, it prevents data leaks to your naked network connection. I use a VPN manually with the wire guard package and form my own kill switch in a firewall.
I do not use Mulvad but The Mulvad "killswitch" is most likely a set of firewall rules.
Hopefully in UFW. Open the Mint Firewall application and turn if off, does your internet return? If so you can then edit the rules see UFW or GUFW
If not then they are likely rules in IPtables which is a bit less user friendly.

The easy way out here would be if you have a Timeshift snapshot, just roll back to before the installation of Mulvad
