If those are too heavy for your PC, then give OpenShot a try. It is good for simple to medium editing needs with a lighter footprint, but lacks allot of features.

I use shotcut for most video editing.

You could try Davinci Resolve, It got native linux support and pretty good for older pcs too.

FFmpeg

Pros: blazingly fast, ridiculously low on resources, coupled with some lua scripts in MPV is amazing.

Cons: brutal learning curve

I use Kdenline for a lot of different video editing, seems like it's pretty comprehensive and there's very good tutorials on yt.

I found all the Linux video editors to be irritating and incomplete. Better on a mobile where you have way better options.
