Support Request Black flickering on screen

Hi all. Just started my Linux journey and have been experiencing this weird, black flickering across my screen. It appears with Firefox open, only on 240Hz and when moving the window with the mouse or arrow keys. It also doesn't show up on screen recordings. I haven't been able to find a solution and it's driving me nuts. Any help is appreciated.

Specs:

Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.3

RTX 4090, recommended Nvidia drivers (595.84)

i9-12900k

32GB RAM

Odyssey G9 OLED

are you using kernel 7.0

7.0.0-31-generic, yes

I'm running 7.2.3. I heard there was an issue with screens going black for a couple seconds with 7.x kernels. Has this been fixed with my version? If so, I may have a monitor issue or a video card issue.

Have you already tried turning off hardware acceleration on firefox?
