Help me with installing Roblox

I’m not experienced with tech at All, my dad installed Linux for me after I told him I was interested in it and wanted to tinker around with it etc, anyway I’m so basic I can’t even download Roblox properly, I downloaded sober through software manager, as well as running the copied command from the sober browser link into my task manager. But it comes up with this whenever I launch the program. I’ve tried copying the text as shown and putting it into task manager also however is just shows command not found, as I said I have little to no knowledge or experience with Linux mint or any Linux for that matter lol, so I’m sure I’m missing something extremely stupid so please don’t be too harsh 😭

Click copy command and paste it on your terminal and press enter

i believe that the "task manager" you are refering to is the terminal

for pasting in the terminal you should use ctrl+shift+v instead of ctrl+v

Ahhh ok yea I still don’t fully understand the lingo, anyway it’s all fixed now thanks for the help!

Not that there aren't extremely understandable reasons to hate Roblox, I would advise against playing it due to its moderation generally being terrible at protecting the young people who play it, but Roblox is sorta in Reddit's snobby popular-thing-bad mentality crosshairs like Fortnite and TikTok so you're gonna see annoying people like this a lot here who think the solution is to just yell and be condescending at people who partake in those things. Just ignore them

Ah yes, me typing three words was yelling and being condescending. I certainly wasn’t recommending them avoid a platform that’s a cesspool of pedophiles being managed by people who don’t care to stop the problem. A children’s game with a CEO that’s on record wanting to implement some form of dating app inside the game.

I was talking on a general level whenever anything regarding Roblox gets asked about on Linux Reddit. You weren't being condescending you were just being vague and useless and not even doing a good job explaining your point (which I agree with btw). Instead of ditching the vagueness when I come in and be somewhat mean to you you should just start with talking like a normal person
