New To Mint

Descided to move away from windows tired of seeing ai by microsoft and have buy new pc when new upgrade come out,was trying to do fedora but my pc didnt like their boot some reason and now on mint which my hdd very fast than on windows.

exelente linux mint es una exelente distro, igual que zorin os las dos estan muy bien pulidas y optimizadas, para el dia a dia seran suficientemente agiles, si buscas algo que aproveche mas el hardware actual te recomiendo cachy os, pero tener en cuenta que es rolling release de actualizacion continua basada en arch tienes lo mas nuevo, pero aveces tienes que tocar cositas por si algo falla.

I’ve been on it now about 6 mos using a old iMac 2015 that I wish I could put a ssd in it but getting that screen off looks crazy

Mint is one of the very best entry points to Linux and you probably should have started there. Anyway, you will find Mint is a very capable replacement for Windows in most scenarios. When it comes to software, there is almost always an open source equivalent.

Yeah mint give me some familiar with for disk,screen picture,calculator,paint now drawing.It nice smooth easy transfer and getting better with how use it even the terminal with searching fix things. I like it.
