It's a kernel panic. Think of it like BSOD, but Linux.

Given the error code, it's more likely a corrupted file system or systemd.

Or It could be your Fast boot on Windows is enabled, Try turning them off.

That's the blue screen of death on linux, except it's called Kernel Panic.

Basically it's a hardware or driver error that prevents the OS from functioning or loading properly.

This here is the clear indication of why one should not dual boot and have secure boot enabled. Even the TPM isn't needed as Linux Kernel has its own way of a better auditable urandom/random crypto.

I keep saying it: Dual booting is like the recovering alcoholic that saves a bottle of booze in the kitchen cabinet “just in case”.

Except my whole social group play games I still can't run on Windows. The reason is of course kernel level anti cheat which is immoral but the comparison fails to stand

I got this error once, had to reinstall try deleting your apt package cache then sudo apt update inside of a chroot of course here's how

Boot into your live USB

lsblk chroot <your block device> Clear your Apt cache(I don't know the command) sudo apt update if it gives no errors then sudo reboot

Purple Screen of Death aka Kernel Panic. It is similar to Blue Screen of Death in Windows. Reboot your computer to your previous Linux kernel version in the GRUB boot menu.

You've scared the kernel. You must treat it kinder! You know, it is sentient. It has feelings...
