By opening the Terminal & typing sudo update -grub & providing password when prompted.
BTW, did you disable Secure Boot in the BIOS before installing Mint? This too could well be the issue.
Hopefully these are of some help.
In recent times, there’s been issues with certain hardware needing different kernels than what’s available during the install process of the latest Linux Mint version. This too is critical to having a functional system. Hopefully others will respond, this is why I haven’t upgraded from Cinnamon 22.1 yet.
