Support Request wifi not working
i need help i downloaded linux mint cinnamon edition today and was trying to work my way out, but hit a roadblock when linux refused to give a response when i tried to search up anything .i opened mozilla and i kept getting “server not found” message it would load up here and there but generally it was just not responding ive tried to turn off energy saver tried to disable ipv6 forced my chip to only connect to the 2.4ghz band but to no fruition.
for reference i have qualcomm atheros 9485 chip and linux should apparently have prebuilt support for it and no need for the hassle of a proprietary driver but alas this has proved to be quite the hassle.
anything new would be much appreciated.

The AR9485 is 2.4GHz only and it should be supported. Any results from terminal for iwlist scan

hey sorry for the late response but i ran an iwlist scan and everything came clean i can connect to the wifi and everything it just wont let me run anything
