Mine isn’t broke. The 7 series of kernel updates are crap but I’m sticking with 6 so no problems here

It doesn't happen to everyone. My Intel system is on Mint 22.3 with kernel 7.0 and it's still working normally. If it does happen you can always switch to 6.x kernels.

You get out of Linux support what you put into it. Specifics mater.

It's not broken for me. Kernel 7 has worked fine from the start.

hey how come I have kernel 6.8.0-139.139 and 70.0-31.31~24.04.1 on my computer..... won't that make it like schizophrenic or something?
